The Vitruvian Man: Created by Leonardo,it is his diagram for the ideal male figure. It was made with grids and circles and squares. Its very much my own life. Its like one big geometric puzzle.I have come to notice that most things, even the simplest in my everyday life,go back to plain old geometry.I will be looking at the tiles in a bathroom wall or floor and in my mind I will put together images or connect the edges in my mind to spell things out.?Its kind of odd but so true.I feel like I have done this same diagram but with different objects millions of times in my life.So surreal to look at this and see the thought that went on with it being created.

Donatello's statue of Mary Magdalen I think a lot of people can relate too one way or another. The statue, made of polychromy and gold on wood, shows the saint, which was known for her beauty,as an old emaciated scary thing. To me this statue explains people in todays world. How people who are so beautiful on the outside, actually look ugly or mean on the inside.Or it can be the opposite of that, with a not so pretty person is really beautiful on the inside,so you have to look past the exterior.

The flamboyant style of architecture used by architects in the fifteenth century I can definitely relate to.My whole family, including generations before, have always been huge fans of the elegant and intricate Gothic architecture. My grandpa, who grew up in Europe, still to this day has a gorgeous Gothic style house.I didnt know the exact style is was considered until the reading, but it is in fact "flamboyant style",with the twisted moldings, and elegance throughout the house.

This photograph of model Lily Cole really pin points my personality and what I am all about.Fashion is with out a doubt one of my major passions in life. Its a great way to express yourself,no matter what day it is or what mood you are in.I especially love the style of this photograph.Just the expression on Lily's face and the look in her eyes exudes confidence. The colors used in the photo with the bright yellows, emeralds and pinks of the whole ensemble put together definetly shows a side of my personality. To me the bright colors represent a very fun and flirty person(like myself).

This oil painting representing the world happens to play a big part in my upbringing and my family.I have spent most of my years constantly traveling from city to city and country to country. My mother is an avid traveler I guess you can say, and brought me and my 3 sisters along with her.To me this painting is sort of an expressionism.I am definetly well rounded and multi-cultural thanks to all the different places I have been lucky enough to visit and live.

This picture is a photograph of the place that will always feel like home to me,and gives me my drive and passion for things in life. Its where my heart is.San Francisco,California.I love the contrast of the hills and the flatness. It to me is art at its finest. This photograph with the lights and the bay,and the tall buildings show such a beautiful side to this city, which is very humanism.
