The Vitruvian Man: Created by Leonardo,it is his diagram for the ideal male figure. It was made with grids and circles and squares. Its very much my own life. Its like one big geometric puzzle.I have come to notice that most things, even the simplest in my everyday life,go back to plain old geometry.I will be looking at the tiles in a bathroom wall or floor and in my mind I will put together images or connect the edges in my mind to spell things out.?Its kind of odd but so true.I feel like I have done this same diagram but with different objects millions of times in my life.So surreal to look at this and see the thought that went on with it being created.

don't forget your images...
ReplyDeleteI too see images and words in tiles.. interesting. I wonder if it is the mathematical side of our brain or the creative side of our brain that makes that association?
ReplyDeleteme too! I mean i've never been able to spell out words w/ bathroom tiles, but when i was young, i would lie in bed & stare up at the cement ceiling. I could conjure up pictures...like faces of men & women w/ crazy hair or a huge nose.
ReplyDeletei don't think my eyesight is as good now, haha
& even tiny flower prints on blankets i could put a picture together. it's pretty awesome actually
that's great that you're able to do that..the power of imagination
